TEWKR originally started as a small project designed specifically for students at National Dong Hwa University (NDHU). The idea came from a simple yet common struggle—students often found it difficult to choose the right courses. While universities provide course descriptions, they rarely give insight into what the actual learning experience is like. Some courses were known to be incredibly engaging, while others felt too fast-paced or heavily test-focused, but there was no easy way to find out before enrolling.
To solve this, a platform was created where NDHU students could share their honest opinions about the courses they had taken. The response was overwhelming—students loved having a space where they could help each other make better academic choices. Seeing this success, the platform expanded beyond NDHU, opening its doors to students across Taiwan.
Now, TEWKR aims to connect students from different universities, allowing them to share experiences, give insights, and help future students navigate their academic journey with confidence. Whether you’re a local student or an international one, TEWKR gives you the opportunity to learn from those who have been in your shoes before.
